KRÜGER on ‘Köln 50667’ with ‘Chaicolada’

TV viewers of the RTL II soap opera ‘Köln 50667’ will now also have the opportunity to discover how versatile the successful product KRÜGER chai latte can be. The popular instant drink will be integrated into the storyline in an intelligent and humorous product placement.

19 March 2013 – The artist’s bar located at the Cologne cathedral in the RTL II soap ‘Köln 50667’ is the meeting point for the best cocktails in the city and soon there will be another, delicious highlight on the menu: the ‘Chaicolada’. The main ingredient: KRÜGER chai latte! With the addition of the popular tea drink, the ‘Chaicolada’ will, naturally, become the ‘cocktail of the Week’ in the soap’s Alex’ Bar.

KRÜGER chai latte is not only perfect as a drink but can also be used as a unique ingredient for baking. The drink will be integrated in this creative and versatile way into the plot of the popular early-evening series ‘Köln 50667’. Particularly for the youth target group, ‘Köln 50667’ is the absolute highlight of the early-evening programmes with numerous active fans. 

In addition to the agreed product placement, which begins in April, there will also be several cross-media actions such as cut-ins in the sister series ‘Berlin – Tag & Nacht’, online advertising and a prize competition where the fans can win a visit to the set. In addition, KRÜGER exclusively sponsors the splash screen of the ‘Köln 50667’ smartphone app.
